Brooklyn, NY (April 1, 2012) – Today, the Brooklyn Young Democrats and the Brooklyn Young Republicans today have announced that they will dismantle each of their organizations in order to join forces under a single, uniting politician for President of the United States: Vermin Supreme.

Amanda Pizzuti, President of the Brooklyn Young Democrats said “Vermin Supreme has an appeal that reaches beyond party lines. He is running on a platform of creating a law requiring all Americans to brush their teeth. As the party of Obamacare, we wholeheartedly support such an endeavor. Too many Americans do not brush their teeth and that leads to much more serious conditions that the rest of us are forced to pay to treat. This is just the next logical step after the individual mandate. Further, he is promising all of us free ponies, and who doesn’t like ponies… or free stuff for that matter?”

Russell Gallo, Republican District Leader for the 47th Assembly District and President of the Brooklyn Young Republicans concurred. “As a veteran, I know firsthand that the United States is under a constant threat of terrorism by our enemies. Vermin Supreme has brought to light the greatest threat of them all, the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse. The Brooklyn Young Republicans do not wish to have their brains eaten. Vermin Supreme is the man that will protect American families. I would be honored to call him my Commander-in-Chief.”

Vermin Supreme is a registered member of the Democratic Party yet has failed to win a single delegate from either of the two major political parties. He is slated to make a third-party bid for President via the Americans Elect movement.
